Unfortunately, in working on the calendar on 12.5.09, it was discovered that not quite enough photos were sent in to make the 2010 calendar possible.   We'll try again for a 2011 calendar; stay tuned in 2010 for the photo submission announcement (photos submitted for the 2010 calendar will kept on file for the 2011 pool - and thank you to all of you who submitted photos!).

Please note: Throughout this web site the name "Cabriolet" is the primary name used for all 1979-1993 Volkswagen® convertibles for simplicity.

What I Love About My Cabriolet Is...

I love the edged design; it reminds me of my first car, a Rabbit diesel of 1982 with 54hp. My 1991 Etienne Aigner reimport of California to Germany is a daily partner over all four seasons of the year. No rust after almost twenty years - that's quality!  ~Michael

2 weeks without. I miss it !!!  ~Reuche

High gas mileage and all the girls love my car.  ~Gerry

Top down, riding to the beach.  We live in South Carolina and put the top down a good eight or nine months out the the year.  ~Larry & Karen

It's my pal.  Over 230,000 miles, custom converted mini-pickup, a real head-turner and a blast to drive - zippy little 5-speed that (usually) gets me wherever I want to go.  ~Monica

I got mine in January 28th...1989. She's an '89, hehehe.  My friend named her the red rocket.  We know each other well.  We are the perfect fit; my surfboard next to me, top down and music blasting and living in Hawaii. BTW, nobody has ever worked on her but me. ~Felipe

This is my first car, even though I am 14. I bought it because it would be an amazing project car to get looking all pretty. I LOVE it!!! ~Mitchell

Pouring into turns and squeezing through tight spots while people turn their heads to look at my 19 year old baby. ~Morgan

Well, I wanted one for a long time and two and a half months ago....there she was in all her nugget gold glory! FOR SALE!!!! Had to have it!! Got it!! And that's the best part!! ~Tom
