The site now has a new section: 1994-2002 Cabrio Info!

From Wikipedia:

On 8 April 2009, Karmann filed for bankruptcy protection due to the sharp decline in demand for cars, and the company's financial obligations. Volkswagen revealed on October 24, 2009 that it had made an offer to acquire long-time partner Karmann. On November 20, 2009 Volkswagen said that it would buy Karmann's site at Osnabrück, to produce a new vehicle.

Buying tip: If you're buying a car sight-unseen (ex.: you're in NY and the car is in CO and you can't travel to CO), deposit the money into an escrow account.  This protects your money until you agree to accept the car; this also allows you to deduct funds for defects not mentioned by the seller.

What I Love About My Cabriolet Is...

How cool I feel whenever my engine revs when I take off at a stoplight with the top down, because my hair is blowing in the wind and I look hot zooming away in red. I LOVE MY BUGSY! :D  ~Brittney

It's all mine, wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. Gorgeous car!  ~Justin

If your a beginner in repairing your own vehicle its a great car to learn with.  But more than that I live in California and for a resident of this state there is nothing better than driving with the top down on a hot summer day or warm summer night.  My top is hardly ever up, and it gets a lot of looks :D  ~Dana

The way I feel when I drive it around town with the top down.  ~Joe

I love my cabriolet because it is EASY TO WORK ON! I own a Mk4 GTi and I love it to death but it's a pain to work on!  The Cabriolet is straight forward! Even I, a girl with no car knowledge, can figure some things out without having to call the boyfriend over to help me!  ~Dominique

Sorry, thanks to a spambot hacking the form , What I Love's are no longer being accepted.  I'm working on a new feature... stay tuned.
